~Globalization Economic and Politic

Economic globalization is an increasing in economic interdependence of national economies across the world through a rapid increase in cross-border movement of goods, services, technology and capital. But according to archives, today in Malaysia, the economic trade is more into domestic direct investment (DDI) rather foreign direct investment (FDI). This statement is proven by 51.6% investment in DDI compared to only 48.4% investment in FDI. This statistic only for early first 10 month for this year. This is due to the campaign that be held by government such as Economic Trade Program (ETP). Sarawak is the largest investment receiver that is about RM 7.3 billion from a total of RM 40 billion.

Political globalization is an increasing trend towards multilateralism in which United Nation plays a key role towards an emerging transnational state apparatus and toward the emergence of national and international non-governmental organization that act as watchdog over governments and have increased their activities and influence. With the establishment of these non-govermental organization, they can help to maintain government and thus can give more benefits to all citizens.

~Development

Globalization also is influenced by development at each place. If there is many development occur, so the place may occur globalization. But in order for well development occur, the place of the development shall be more strategic that is near to main infrastructure, places where many people heading to or places that high in population. These all people will help to improve the development as well as can help them to have a better life. This was said by minister of ministry of International Trade and Industry on his visit to techpark@enstek at Enstek Town, Seremban. It is situated near to Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Here, not only Malaysian will heading to, of course it may attract many foreigner to go there. Any investor from Malaysia or overseas can invest here by running their product here. Besides that, all this may increase the number of employment opportunities to Malaysian that still do not have fix work in order to increase their income.

~A Better Life

From previous entries, we could see that I focused more on poverty. But this time I would like to talk not related to poverty directly but indirectly, it still related to it. In you mind, what might be the factor that could help the poor. Economic was one of the factor that might help this group. But from what I read in an online news, in the future the world economic would be a little bit gloomy. So in order to overcome it, we had to work together to improve it. The problem might due to the economic crisis that happened in Europe. This statement was said by Christine Lagarde, head of international state fund. In order to fix it, not only Europe that had to work hard. All country in this world should work together since Europe was a country that had big power towards the world. For an example, a way that might help to overcome this problem was to make a diplomatic relationship between two country in order to improve each country economic. This was what each country did these days. Hope this would help a lot since this involve all.

~Globalization and Country Development

What is the relationship between this to, globalization and country development? Maybe all can identified that both of it are really related to each other. When globalization occur, the country will develop well.But do you ever think about it deeply? I also not really think about it much before this. But when I study it deeply, I realise that it really related.

I will give an example to relate it. If there are no technology or machine to make cars, do you ever think that there will be any car on the road these days? Technology can be describe as a globalization. When there are no cars, can we develop well the same as we are now? I think it cannot be happening. So this obviously show that the relationship between globalization and country development. Globalization will help the development and technology will help the globalization to occur. Same as our life. We are inter-related to each other. We need each other for a better life.

Nowadays, all country in the world already develop well. This due to their citizens achievement. From the United Nation Conference on Trade and Development, Denmark is ranking the first followed by United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Japan, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Canada. Malaysia is ranking the 28. 

As we can see in Malaysia, I think we had developed well. But it do not enough compare to other country. The development in Malaysia really rapid especially in big states such as Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Johor. We maybe can be listed as the top 10 develop country in 2020. It is possible to be true. As a Malaysian, we have to help to make it come true.

~Globalization Facilities

Maybe everyone wondering what is this post all about. It really different from the previous posts. I'm writing this after reading all the news that happened around me especially in Malaysia. Normally, people will relate globalization with technology or IT. I'm agree with it too. With the usage of modern technology nowadays, people can know what happen around the world.

As Malaysia government realise it, now they try to decrease the gap between rural and urban area by giving help to the rural people. They try to improve the access to information technology and telecommunications (ICT). Some of the improvement that government try to do is by giving 1 Malaysia netbook to one million poor students and low income households. Through this distribution, they can try to search for activity or job that can help them in gaining more money. Besides that, government also establish Digital District, Community Broadband Center and resources center. Through all this problems, rural people can try to adept with the times and on the other hand, may change their way of life. Besides this facilities may change their lifestyles, this also may help their children to excel in study and further their study at high level. Education is a medium for a changes. With education, we can adept with the way of life nowadays that really challenging.

~Poverty Statistics

Poverty can be divided into two that are absolute poverty and relative poverty. Absolute poverty is a dynamic concept while relative poverty is a concept of income inequality.

In order to measure the poverty, absolute poverty will calculate the poverty rate that is the percentage of population or households which income below the poverty line. Normally we see it from the gross monthly income that is insufficient to purchase the minimum requirements of household as measured by the level of the minimum expenditure or income poverty line (PGK)

Relative poverty is measured by using income disparity ratios of income groups, ethnic groups and rural and urban residents. Another measure of relative poverty that is often used is the percentage of households with income less that half of such median or average income.

According to poverty eradication foundation of Malaysia, in year 2005, Sabah is the country that high in poverty number followed by the East Cost country, Kelantan and Terengganu. Other ranking is Sarawak, Kedah, Perak, Pahang, Perlis, Selangor, Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and finally Penang.

~Death Due to Globalization

As previous post, globalization cause poverty to the world. The major effect of that is the number of death due to hunger increase each time. From the statistic, there are about 12 000 people die due to hunger. Most of it are innocent children. They suppose to go to school, study rather that suffer from hunger. They are the future leader. Who else will rule the society to be a develop country. That really such a waste and really sad. Maybe we do not care or know about it. As a responsible person, we must help to decrease the number of the death. It become the responsible of each people in this world. We have to work together to overcome it. Poor the baby and small child, they become the victims of the world crime. As I write this, now there are about 200 number of death at this hour. How come we just see the number increase time by time. Please....Work together to avoid it from increase rapidly. We can sent some food supply to them. Responsible citizens will increase the development of the country.
